ToggleHola Prime review: our verdict
Hola Prime offers plenty of choice, including five account routes and six trading platforms. The problem is that its funded rules are stricter than the headline offer suggests. Most plans limit risk to 2% across each trade idea and require a stop loss on every position. Hola Prime may also combine scaled entries and quick re-entries when calculating that risk. Margin use of 70% or more can trigger action, while some plans restrict trading around major news. Our verdict: Hola Prime is best suited to disciplined traders who place a stop loss with every order and keep their combined risk comfortably below 2%. It is less suitable if you scale heavily into positions, re-enter quickly, use high margin or rely on a small number of large winning trades. Rating: 3.8/5. Recommended for controlled, stop-based strategies, but unsuitable for some scaling and high-margin approaches.Hola Prime Rating

- Official comparison tables explain many important plan differences.

Who is Hola Prime best for?
Hola Prime is best suited to a trader who plans entries in advance, attaches a stop loss immediately and keeps the same general method through evaluation and funding. The 1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime plans are the most natural options for traders who need unrestricted news trading, while 2-Step Pro offers higher forex leverage and wider drawdown limits in most account sizes.
Hola Prime may suit:
- Forex and CFD traders who want MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader or DXtrade.
- Traders who prefer an unlimited evaluation period.
- Traders who consistently risk well below 2% per trade idea.
- Traders who can satisfy profitable-day or payout-consistency conditions.
- EA users willing to customise their software and maintain the same approach after passing.
- Traders who value a choice between on-demand, bi-weekly and monthly payout structures.
Hola Prime may not suit:
- Traders who enter without a hard stop loss.
- Traders who frequently add to the same position or quickly re-enter the same market.
- High-margin traders who may approach 70% utilisation.
- Traders who change instruments, automation or risk profile after passing.
- News traders selecting 2-Step Pro, Prime X or Direct without understanding the funded-stage restriction.
- Traders whose results depend heavily on one large winning day or one isolated trade.
- Anyone expecting a regulated brokerage deposit or ownership of the nominal account balance.
How we reviewed Hola Prime
We checked Hola Prime’s official challenge comparison, terms, trading rules, payout conditions, platform information, device policy and public risk disclosures on 4 September 2026. We also compared coverage from Forex Peace Army, Prop Firm Match, Myfxbook, Forex Prop Reviews and DailyForex, then reviewed recent public complaints for recurring issues that traders should investigate.

We purchased a $50,000 2-Step Prime challenge for $319 and placed 18 XAU/USD trades through MT5. Account setup, order placement and mobile access worked without any problems during our test. The Hola Prime dashboard was sometimes slightly slower than MT5 when updating account data. We did not reach the simulated funded stage or request a payout, so our review does not include first-hand payout testing.
Is Hola Prime legit?
Our short answer: Hola Prime is an active proprietary trading evaluation provider, but it should not be treated as a regulated retail broker or investment firm simply because a related company holds a financial-services licence. Hola Prime’s challenges and funded accounts are described as simulated trading products. The company provides identifiable business entities, addresses, contact information, challenge rules and risk disclosures on its website. These are positive transparency signals, but they do not eliminate the commercial risks associated with buying a challenge. According to Hola Prime’s current website disclosures:- Simulated trading operations are managed by Hola Prime Limited, with an address at L1, Shaw House, 201 Wan Po Road, Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong.
- Holaprime Limited, registered in Cyprus under company number HE 454359, is described by Hola Prime as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong company.
- For MT4 and MT5, Hola Prime identifies a Mauritius company named Hola Prime Limited, registration number 220248, with a registered office at 4th Floor, Docks 4, The Docks, Caudan, Port Louis, Mauritius.
- Hola Prime states that the Mauritius company is authorised by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as an Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, excluding underwriting) under licence number GB24203729.
- For DXtrade, cTrader and Match-Trader, the website identifies Gooey Trade, GT Tech LLC, at 6800 Broken Sound Parkway Northwest, Suite 150, Boca Raton, Florida 33487, United States.
- The fee paid by a trader is a challenge or service fee, not a deposit into a brokerage account.
- The advertised account size is simulated trading capital, not money belonging to the trader.
- Traders do not receive the same client-money protections they might expect from a regulated broker.
- Any reward remains subject to Hola Prime’s eligibility rules, prohibited-trading provisions, identity checks and contractual terms.
Our legitimacy assessment
We found an active website, identifiable company disclosures, published trading rules, accessible support channels and clear statements that the trading environment is simulated. These factors support the conclusion that Hola Prime is a genuine operating prop-firm business rather than an anonymous website.
However, “legitimate” does not mean risk-free, and it does not guarantee that every trader will pass an evaluation or qualify for a reward. Your decision should be based on the current contractual terms, drawdown rules, prohibited strategies, complaint process and reward conditions, rather than the advertised account balance alone.
Are Hola Prime accounts live or simulated?
Traders should assume the evaluation and funded experience is simulated unless Hola Prime confirms otherwise for a specific account. Its disclosure says a Hola Prime simulated funded account may represent a simulated, live or copied account. That gives the firm flexibility to decide whether and how trading is replicated.
The trader is therefore buying access to an evaluation and a chance to earn a payout under the firm’s terms. The trader is not receiving ownership of $50,000, $100,000 or another advertised account balance.
How established is Hola Prime?
Hola Prime launched in 2024, so it has a shorter operating record than long-established firms such as FTMO or The5ers. A younger firm is not automatically unsafe, but traders have less long-term evidence about rule stability, complaint handling and payouts across different market conditions.
Hola Prime states that 35% of customers who placed at least one evaluation trade obtained a simulated funded account between 10 November 2024 and 29 May 2025. This is the company’s own disclosed statistic and does not tell us how many were eventually paid.
How Hola Prime works in five steps
The purchasing process is simple, but choosing the right challenge requires more than just selecting the largest account.
Step 1: Choose a programme that matches your strategy
Start with the funded-stage conditions. Decide whether you need unrestricted news trading, weekend holding, EA access or the wider drawdown limits of a two-step plan. A plan that conflicts with your normal trading method is unlikely to become suitable simply because it has a lower promotional price.
Step 2: Select the account size, platform and payout cycle
Available sizes begin at $5,000 and reach $300,000 on some programmes. The 2-Step Pro page currently lists sizes up to $200,000. Select a size based on the fee you can afford to lose and the monetary value of the drawdown, not the nominal account balance alone.
Platform, payout cycle, profit share and optional add-ons can change the final price and rules. Review the completed checkout summary before paying.
Step 3: Complete the evaluation without breaching a rule
Evaluation traders must reach the relevant profit target and complete the minimum trading days. There is no maximum evaluation period under the current rules. Depending on the plan, this means one phase or two phases with separate targets.
You do not need to make a profit every day. You do need to remain inside the daily and overall loss limits and avoid prohibited strategies. The current evaluation plans do not list a general payout-style consistency rule, although all trading remains subject to the broader prohibited-practice policy.
Step 4: Complete KYC and receive a simulated funded account
After passing all required phases, the trader completes identity checks. Successful traders receive what Hola Prime calls a simulated funded account. Do not describe this as guaranteed access to a live account or as ownership of the advertised balance.
Step 5: Meet the funded rules and request a performance reward
The funded stage removes the evaluation profit target but introduces conditions that can be more important than the challenge rules. These include the 2% trade-idea limit on most plans, mandatory stop losses, payout-cycle requirements, strategy-consistency controls and plan-specific news restrictions.
Once eligible, the trader can request a performance reward using the available payment methods. Hola Prime advertises one-hour processing, but approval depends on KYC, account review and compliance with the applicable rules.

Which Hola Prime plan is best?
2-Step Pro: Best for traders who want up to 1:100 forex leverage and the widest standard loss limits. The trade-off is funded-stage news and weekend restrictions plus the 2% trade-idea rule. 1-Step Prime: Best for traders who want to pass one phase and retain news and weekend flexibility. Its 3% daily and 6% overall loss limits leave less room for error. 2-Step Prime: The most balanced choice for many discretionary traders. It combines 5% daily and 10% overall limits on most sizes with unrestricted news and weekend holding. Forex leverage is lower than Pro. 2-Step Prime X: Best considered by traders specifically seeking its 10% maximum loss and absence of the standard trade-idea rule. The funded account instead has a 2% floating-loss rule, a lower maximum advertised reward share and funded-stage news restrictions. Direct Account: Gives immediate access to a simulated funded account without profit targets or minimum trading days. It has a 3% daily limit, 7% end-of-day trailing drawdown, 2% trade-idea rule, payout consistency requirement, no EAs and restrictions on news and weekend trading. “Instant” does not mean unrestricted. Capital limits explained: Hola Prime offers individual forex challenge accounts up to $300,000. Its standard maximum allocation is $500,000 for forex and $500,000 for futures, with a standard combined forex and futures cap of $800,000. Higher limits promoted through scaling or Prime Circle are conditional long-term ceilings, not the amount a new customer receives after passing one challenge.Hola Prime trading rules that can cost you an account
This is the most important part of the review. A trader can hit the profit target and still fail to qualify for rewards if the trading method conflicts with the firm’s funded-stage policies.
Daily loss limit
The daily loss limit is calculated using the previous day’s closing balance. The allowance is normally 5% on 2-Step Pro, 2-Step Prime and Prime X, but falls to 4% on the $200,000 Pro and Prime accounts. It is 3% on 1-Step Prime and Direct.
Example: If a $100,000 2-Step Prime account closes at $102,000, the next day’s 5% limit is based on that closing balance under the published wording. Traders should confirm whether commissions, swaps, closed losses and floating profit or loss are included in the dashboard calculation before placing a trade.
Maximum loss and trailing drawdown
Most two-step plans use a fixed maximum loss based on the initial balance. The 1-Step Prime maximum is 6%. The Direct account uses a 7% end-of-day trailing drawdown, so its loss floor can move upward as the account reaches higher end-of-day balances.
Example: A trailing drawdown can make withdrawn profits and subsequent losses more restrictive than a static limit. Before selecting Direct, verify exactly when the floor moves, whether it stops trailing, and how a withdrawal affects the available buffer.
The 2% risk-per-trade-idea rule
On funded 2-Step Pro, 1-Step Prime, 2-Step Prime and Direct accounts, potential loss on one trade idea must not exceed 2% of the initial balance.
Hola Prime groups together:
- Split positions in the same asset and direction that overlap.
- Multiple entries opened or closed at different times.
- A new position in the same asset and direction opened within ten minutes of closing the previous position.
- A continuous chain of overlapping or closely timed positions.
A stop loss is mandatory. Hola Prime says an open trade without a stop loss is treated as having infinite risk, which can cause a hard breach.
Worked example: On a $100,000 account, the maximum permitted risk on one idea is $2,000. If a trader opens three long XAU/USD positions risking $700 each, the combined risk is $2,100. Treating them as three tickets does not avoid the rule. The combined trade idea exceeds 2%.
Re-entry example: A trader closes a long EUR/USD position and reopens long eight minutes later. The two positions can be grouped as one trade idea. Waiting ten minutes is not a substitute for proper risk control, but trading again sooner can alter the firm’s calculation.
Mandatory stop losses
Using a stop loss as a mental exit is not sufficient. Under the published rule, every relevant trade needs an attached stop loss. The absence of a stop is treated as infinite potential risk.
Traders using scripts, trade copiers or EAs should test whether the stop is placed with the initial order or only added afterwards. Even a short delay could create avoidable uncertainty during a compliance review.
Excessive margin utilisation
Hola Prime defines margin utilisation of 70% or more as excessive on simulated funded and Direct accounts. The stated response is to rebalance the account to its initial balance, while repeated violations can lead to placement in the Prime Consistency Program.
This threshold is more objective than vague references to “overleveraging,” but traders must monitor the platform’s margin calculation across every open position. High leverage does not mean the firm permits the trader to use all available margin.
Consistency of strategy
Hola Prime expects the strategy used to pass the challenge to remain broadly consistent after funding. Its rules identify several substantial changes:
- Passing with an EA and switching to manual trading, or the reverse.
- Moving to completely different asset classes or symbols.
- Significantly increasing margin utilisation.
- Significantly increasing the overall risk profile.
The firm says a material change can result in review, suspension or reward denial. This rule is broader and more judgement-based than a numerical drawdown limit.
Speculative trading and reliance on one result
Hola Prime says performance should show consistency across a meaningful number of trades. If overall profit depends materially on a single trade or isolated result, the firm may classify the activity as speculative.
The published rule does not give a universal numerical threshold for “meaningful” or “materially dependent.” Ask support for written clarification if your strategy naturally produces a low win rate with occasional large winners.
This point deserves attention because some public reviewers allege disputes after generating a large portion of profit from one trade. Those accounts are unverified user reports, but they show why a trader should obtain clarification before purchasing.
One-sided betting
The rules prohibit repeatedly taking positions in one direction without what the firm considers proper market evaluation. This wording may concern trend-following traders or strategies that legitimately produce a long or short directional bias.
Ask support how it distinguishes a valid directional system from one-sided betting. Retain backtests, a written trading plan and trade notes if the strategy frequently trades one direction during strong trends.
Expert advisers, algorithms and trade copiers
EAs are permitted on Pro, Prime and Prime X but not Direct. Hola Prime requires customised settings and may ask for source code during a review. It can group accounts using identical or near-identical third-party EA configurations and apply a combined allocation or other action.
Copying between accounts owned by the same individual is generally permitted under published FAQs, while copying from other people or coordinating strategies is prohibited. Confirm the current rule for the selected platform and account type before connecting a copier.
IP addresses, devices, VPNs and travel
Hola Prime allows a trader to use personal desktop, laptop and mobile devices and says different internet connections, including mobile data, are acceptable when activity remains consistent. However:
- A trader must not share a device with another participant.
- A device associated with another trader can trigger termination.
- Multiple accounts on one network or suspicious location changes can be reviewed.
- A VPN must not route through a restricted country.
- A VPS should use a static, dedicated IP unique to the account.
- International travel may trigger a compliance review.
- Requested supporting documents must be supplied within the stated deadline.
The official device policy is worth reading in full, especially for households with two traders or users who travel regularly.
News trading and weekend holding
News and weekend rules depend on the programme.
1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime
Hola Prime says news trading is allowed without restrictions during both evaluation and funded stages. Weekend holding is also allowed.
2-Step Pro and 2-Step Prime X
News trading is allowed during evaluation. In the funded stage, the trader must not open or close a position on an affected instrument from five minutes before until five minutes after a high-impact release.
Execution includes:
- Market orders.
- Pending orders.
- Stop-loss activation.
- Take-profit activation.
This means a trade opened well before the event can still violate the rule if its stop or target executes inside the restricted window. Hola Prime says profits from prohibited-window executions can be reversed, while reckless exploitation can lead to termination.
Direct Account
Direct applies a similar five-minute window around high-impact news. If a stop loss or take profit executes during the window, Hola Prime says the account can be closed.
Weekend holding is not allowed on 2-Step Pro funded and Direct accounts according to the current comparison table. It is allowed on 1-Step Prime, 2-Step Prime and Prime X.
Read the official news and weekend policy before trading an event.
Payouts, profit splits and challenge-fee refunds
Hola Prime advertises payouts processed within one hour, but this is a processing target after approval, not a guarantee that every request will be accepted. The account must satisfy its payout cycle, profitable-day, consistency, KYC and trading-rule conditions.
Payout cycle options
For funded Pro and Prime accounts, the official comparison currently lists:
Payout cycle Trader share Additional requirement
On demand 80% 40% consistency, at least 2% total profit and qualifying profitable days
Bi-weekly 80% Three profitable days
Monthly 95% Seven profitable days
A profitable day is described as net profit of at least 0.5% of the initial balance for the relevant requirements. A $100,000 account therefore needs at least $500 net profit to count as one profitable day.
The Direct account lists bi-weekly payout options at 80% or 90%, with a 20% consistency rule. Prime X lists an 80% bi-weekly cycle, three profitable days and 50% consistency. Confirm the exact selection and add-on price at checkout.
How the 40% payout consistency rule works
Under the on-demand cycle, the largest winning day must not represent more than 40% of total profit.
Example: If the largest day made $1,200, total profit must reach at least $3,000 because $1,200 ÷ $3,000 = 40%. At $2,500 total profit, the score would be 48%, so the account would not yet qualify.
This is not necessarily a breach. It can mean the trader must continue trading until total profit dilutes the largest day’s contribution. Continuing solely to qualify for a payout adds market risk, so choose the payout cycle with the way your strategy usually generates profits.
Minimum payout and payment methods
Hola Prime’s 2-Step Pro FAQ states:
- Bank wire and crypto have a $50 minimum after the firm’s share.
- Supported crypto includes BTC, USDC, ETH and USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20.
- Rise has a $500 minimum and a flat $25 transaction fee.
Check whether these thresholds apply unchanged to your chosen plan and country.
Challenge-fee refund
“100% refund” does not normally mean the full fee is returned immediately after passing. For eligible challenges, Hola Prime says it returns 25% of the original fee with each of the first four successful payouts.
Example: A $120 challenge would return $30 alongside each of four successful payouts. A trader who passes but receives only one payout would have recovered $30, not the complete $120.
Fees and the true cost of a Hola Prime challenge
Hola Prime’s prices and promotions change by plan, account size, platform and optional feature. The Pro page currently advertises a starting fee of $59, while Hola Prime has also advertised Prime entry prices from $39. The final checkout price should be treated as the current price.
Before buying, check:
- Base evaluation fee.
- Account size.
- Platform surcharge.
- Payout-cycle add-on.
- Higher profit-share add-on.
- Swap-free add-on.
- Reset price.
- Currency-conversion cost.
- Discount terms.
- Refund schedule.
Cost-per-successful-payout example
If one challenge costs $120 and the trader needs three attempts, total challenge spending is $360. At an 80% payout share, the account must produce $450 in eligible gross simulated profit for the trader’s 80% share to equal that $360 outlay, before taxes, payment charges or other costs.
This does not estimate the probability of passing. It simply shows why the cheapest advertised fee or largest nominal account is not always the best-value option.
Hola Prime regularly runs promotional discounts, although the available percentage and eligible plans can change.
Check our discount code page for the latest verified offer before purchasing. Compare the discounted checkout price rather than relying on the headline promotion alone.
Trading platforms
Hola Prime supports six platforms for forex and CFD accounts:
- MetaTrader 4
- MetaTrader 5
- cTrader
- TradeLocker
- Match-Trader
- DXtrade
This is one of the firm’s clearest advantages. MT4 and MT5 suit traders using established indicators and EAs. cTrader offers advanced charting and order controls. TradeLocker and Match-Trader integrate TradingView-style charting, while DXtrade provides browser-based trading and account analytics.
Platform availability can vary by plan and jurisdiction. Check the chosen platform at checkout, including any surcharge and whether an EA, copier or custom indicator is supported.
SecretsToTrading101 platform test
| Test | Result |
|---|---|
| Login and setup | We logged into MT5 and connected the account without any problems. |
| Order execution | We placed and managed XAU/USD trades without any execution problems during normal market conditions. |
| Stop-loss placement | We added the stop loss when placing the original order. |
| Dashboard synchronisation | The Hola Prime dashboard was slightly slower than MT5 when updating account data. |
| Mobile stability | We experienced no problems managing the account from mobile. |
| News-period performance | We did not run a controlled execution test during NFP. Spreads and slippage can increase around major releases, so I normally avoid trading during that period. |
Instruments, leverage and commissions
Hola Prime offers forex, metals, indices, cryptocurrencies and other commodities. Available symbols and contract specifications can differ between platforms.
For the 2-Step Pro account, the official FAQ lists maximum leverage of:
Asset Maximum leverage
Major forex 1:100
Exotic forex 1:10
Metals 1:20
Indices 1:10
Commodities 1:5
Cryptocurrency 1:2
The current commission schedule lists:
- Forex and gold: $3 per lot per side, or $6 round turn.
- Other metals and commodities: $1.50 per lot per side.
- Indices: zero commission.
- Cryptocurrency: zero commission.
Zero commission does not mean zero trading cost. The spread and any swap charge still matter.
Scaling plan
Hola Prime advertises standard scaling up to $4 million. Its published model begins after four months and requires 10% total profit, at least two profitable months and two payouts.
The stated progression is:
- First scale: 25% increase after four months.
- Second scale: 40% increase after eight months, with additional membership conditions.
- Third and later scales: 50% increases every four months until the cap.
Scaling is a long-term benefit, not initial buying power. Traders should verify whether the maximum allocation applies per person, across all accounts and across related strategies.
Customer support
Hola Prime provides contact channels through its website, live support and community channels. A useful support assessment should test whether staff can explain difficult rules in writing rather than simply measuring the speed of the first reply.
Questions we recommend asking
- Is a stop loss required at the exact moment of entry, or is a short technical delay allowed?
- How is risk calculated when a stop is moved after entry?
- Are correlated instruments combined under the trade-idea rule?
- How is 70% margin utilisation measured across platforms?
- What objective threshold determines dependence on one trade?
- Which changes between evaluation and funding count as a material strategy change?
- Can two traders in one household use separate devices on the same home network?
- What evidence is required before international travel?
- Does a stop or target triggered in the news window breach the selected plan?
- How does a payout affect Direct’s end-of-day trailing drawdown?
Hola Prime reviews and trader complaints
Public ratings provide context, but they should not replace first-hand testing or the official terms.
Trustpilot displayed a rating of 4.5/5 from 3,555 reviews when we checked the profile on 4 September 2026.Recent reviewers raised complaints involving the 2% rule, mobile or IP activity, consistency, margin use, account termination and profit adjustments. Hola Prime responded publicly to some complaints and explained that certain decisions concerned stop-loss placement or combined risk rather than whether the trade finished in profit.
Some reports also show issues being reconsidered or resolved. This mixed record is more useful than labelling every complaint true or dismissing every complaint as trader error.
When reviewing third-party comments:
- Treat individual posts as allegations unless independently verified.
- Check whether the firm replied with a specific rule.
- Look for screenshots or trading records.
- Distinguish evaluation failure from funded payout denial.
- Check whether the reviewer later updated the complaint.
- Give more weight to recurring, recent and well-documented issues.
Hola Prime versus alternatives
The best alternative depends on why Hola Prime does not fit.
Trader priority Firm to compare Why compare it
Longer operating history FTMO Established record and widely understood evaluation structure
High maximum scaling The5ers Different scaling model and longer track record
More payout or challenge flexibility FundedNext Broad range of current evaluation structures
Different rule set Funding Pips Useful comparison for payout timing and programme rules
Final verdict: should you use Hola Prime?
Hola Prime has a broader platform selection and more transparent published rules than many newer prop firms. Its unlimited evaluation periods, multiple payout cycles and flexible Prime plans are genuine strengths.
The conditions are not simple. The standard funded rules combine a 2% trade-idea cap, mandatory stop losses, a 70% margin threshold and an expectation that the evaluation strategy will continue after funding. Pro, Prime X and Direct users must also manage news restrictions carefully. These controls can suit conservative, repeatable trading, but they create added compliance risk for aggressive scaling, fast re-entry, high margin, discretionary strategy changes or trades designed around major news.
Our preferred starting point for a typical discretionary forex trader is the 2-Step Prime plan because it provides 5% daily and 10% overall loss limits on most sizes while allowing news and weekend holding. The 1-Step Prime is faster but has tighter 3% and 6% limits. Pro offers more forex leverage, while Prime X replaces the standard trade-idea rule with a 2% floating-loss rule on the funded account. Direct should be chosen for its rule set, not simply because it removes the evaluation.
Read every current rule, save a dated copy and ask support to clarify anything that conflicts with your normal strategy. Start with the account size you can comfortably afford until you have verified the dashboard, execution and payout process yourself.

FAQs
Is Hola Prime a legitimate prop firm?
Hola Prime is an operating prop evaluation company founded in 2024 and publishes company, platform and risk disclosures. Its challenge is not a bank deposit or conventional brokerage investment. Traders purchase access to a simulated evaluation and may qualify for contractual performance rewards.
Is Hola Prime regulated?
Do not treat the prop challenge itself as a regulated client-money product. Hola Prime identifies a Mauritius entity used for MT4 and MT5 that is licensed by the Mauritius FSC as an investment dealer. It separately states that its prop service provides simulated trading, does not act as a broker and does not accept deposits.
Does Hola Prime use real money?
Hola Prime describes challenge and funded accounts as simulated. Its disclosure says funded accounts may be simulated, live or copied, but traders should not assume they own or directly trade the advertised nominal balance.
Does Hola Prime pay within one hour?
Hola Prime advertises one-hour payout processing after a request is approved. Eligibility still depends on the selected cycle, profit share, profitable-day or consistency requirements, KYC and compliance with all trading rules.
What is Hola Prime's 2% rule?
Potential loss on one trade idea must not exceed 2% of the initial account balance on most funded and Direct accounts. Hola Prime can combine split positions, overlapping positions and same-direction re-entries within ten minutes. A stop loss is mandatory.
Does Hola Prime require a stop loss?
Yes, on accounts covered by the risk-per-trade-idea rule. The published policy says a trade without a stop loss is treated as having infinite risk and can cause a hard breach.
Can you trade news with Hola Prime?
News trading is unrestricted on 1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime under the current policy. Funded Pro, Prime X and Direct accounts restrict execution on affected instruments from five minutes before until five minutes after high-impact releases.
Can a stop loss breach the news rule?
Yes. On accounts with funded-stage news restrictions, Hola Prime counts stop-loss and take-profit activation as execution. A stop or target triggered during the prohibited window can therefore violate the rule.
Does Hola Prime allow weekend holding?
Weekend holding is allowed on 1-Step Prime, 2-Step Prime and Prime X funded accounts. The official comparison lists it as unavailable on funded 2-Step Pro and Direct accounts. Check for subsequent changes.
Does Hola Prime allow EAs?
EAs are permitted on Pro, Prime and Prime X accounts but not Direct. Settings must be customised, the approach should remain consistent after evaluation, and Hola Prime may request source code during a compliance review.
Can you copy trades on Hola Prime?
Copying between accounts owned by the same individual is generally permitted, subject to current allocation and platform rules. Copying between different people, coordinated group trading and shared strategies are prohibited.
What platforms does Hola Prime offer?
Hola Prime currently lists MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and DXtrade for forex and CFD trading. Availability and price may vary by plan and country.
How does the challenge-fee refund work?
Eligible evaluation fees are returned in four 25% instalments across the first four successful payouts. Passing alone does not normally trigger an immediate full refund.
Is Hola Prime available in the United States?
The United States is not included in the restricted-country list published on the official comparison page when checked on 4 September 2026. Eligibility can vary by platform and can change, so US traders should confirm at checkout and during KYC.
What happens if I travel while using Hola Prime?
International travel can trigger a compliance review because the IP location changes. Hola Prime may request travel details or documents. Notify support in advance and retain its written response.
Can two people in one household trade with Hola Prime?
The device and network policy makes shared devices a serious risk and says multiple accounts on one network can trigger review. Ask support for written approval and requirements before two household members register or trade.
